Philippines, onto a resilient path



Filipinos, the people that are from the Philippines, we are known survivors of hardships and a lot of storms and typhoons. We are strong fighters in desperate situations and we overcome and still fight. We hope and believe that we will make it in life if we try harder and better. We make everything meaningful and we learn from experience that is why we are resilient. But first of all, what is resilience?


Resilience refers to the process and the outcome of successfully adapting to challenging life experiences. This resilience cause us to get up on our feet even if we are experiencing hard times and downside of life. We Filipino had much hardships that we can call ourselves resilient. We embrace the hardships on what it taught us and we can apply it in our life. Us Filipinos have resilience, some don't have that much or just none.

There are many ways to improve our resilience. One of the ways is building connections, it is healthy and important to build strong connections around, either be it your friends or your family, they help you overcome and support you through these hardships causing you to be much stronger mentally. Second, we have to make life meaningful, we must set objectives or goals that can motivate us to do better. Third, we must learn from experience, we Filipinos have already experienced through a lot and we have learned from it, we should keep in mind the lessons and skills we learned from those experiences. Furthermore, we have to be hopeful, hopeful that we can make it and we need to think about the good things that might sprout from it. Lastly, we have to manage our emotions, with our emotions being rampant we will do unthinkable things and we give in in our emotions, causing us to give up and not push forward.






We must keep in mind to be resilient and if you don't have resilience, you can always learn and improve. Help the people who needs support to strengthen their inner self. With these advice we can be a more resilient Filipinos, a more resilient Philippines.
