March 2024: National Women's Month






Women's History Month is an annual observance to highlight the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society. Celebrated during March. .

The 2024 NWMC carries the sub-theme, “Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas; Kakayahan ng Kababaihan, Patutunayan!” which highlights the need to showcase and harness the full potentials of women and girls in actively engaging in and reaping the benefits of national growth and development.



Back then, Women didn't have the power to speak for themselves nor have any rights that protects women. Women were lower than men, just that. Women were just used and didn't have the right to rule and work. They were only required to do their job in their own home as a housewife.







However, as times and years go by, women had fought for themselves. Little by little, women built and fought to be respected and let themselves known. Women currently have the right to work and talk for themselves. They had proven themselves that Women can do just what men can do, work, defend, and let their voice be known. The position of Women in the society rose from people who aren't respected to people who can and is
respected. Women are treated with the respect they deserve and have access to a wide range of options like working, rights—not just women's rights, but all rights—and governing a nation.


In this month, as the National Women's Month, Let's show our appreciation for all women worldwide, as they are deserving of love, respect, freedom, and equality. Let the Women all around be known that they are important and not just men. Everyone is important.
